This Chalisa has musical reference points throughout as it is meant to be used as a learning assistant. This Chalisa is dedicated with love and gratitude to Neem Karoli Baba. Special thanks to Ram Dass for being the primary vessel for which I learned of NKB and the Chalisa to begin with.
Now. Each of Adrienne’s Chalisa’s are being given away as an offering of love to raise awareness for different causes; and each Chalisa is infused with a specific prayer for that cause.
Divine Love is the first of this Chalisa project and is dedicated simply and most importantly to the greatest cause of all, LOVE. The intention behind Divine Love is simply to help us to remember our connection to God and to each other; to remember our divine love for God, ourselves, and each other, and to recognize and appreciate the divine light God blesses us with, which radiates through each one of us individually and collectively. To maximize peace, love, and harmony around the world, we must cultivate it within ourselves. To know God, to love God, and to love each other, we must hold much love and compassion for ourselves. So when you hear or sing this Chalisa, please send much love to yourself, as your life and the dynamic you contribute to this world are truly a remarkable gift from God. Feel yourself filling up with love, overflowing with love, floating in this majestic, divine love like a warm, healing bath. And then your connection to God and love for everyone around you will occur as a natural and effortless rebound.
